Accomplishments: • Annual funding of 3-5 summer student internships, including a botany intern • Provide educational outreach for local youth through support for Life of Lake Superior program, Clear Lake             Education Center and More Kids in the Woods programs • Sponsor Superior Wildlands Newspaper • Campground Culture Tours and summer interpretive programs • Creation of an interagency welcome video • Support for the annual Youth Archeology Workshop on Grand Island • Interpretive signage for the Hiawatha National Forest at Pete’s Lake, Grand Island, Eben Ice Caves, Sandtown           historic site, and other sites. • Dark Skies Program using the forest’s large Celestron telescope • Funding for local Raptor Center presentations • Birding by the Bay Festival 2003-06
